In the heart of Madrid’s favorite neighborhood, you can now find this beautifully designed studio. The total area of 36m2 comprises one spacious bathroom with large shower, a new compact kitchen integrated to the living area and nice double bedroom space. Before the reform, it used to be a cluttered apartment with a dark bedroom and a very small bathroom.

The main concept of the reform was to open the space, bring light to the interior using the big window and balcony available. In order to reach this, the wardrobe that used to share the space into the living room and the bedroom was demolished revealing the beautiful original columns of the old building.

The final result was a very practical apartment announced on Airbnb that can host up to four people comfortably. The generous double bed can accommodate a couple while the sofa can become a bed and fit another couple or two children. It is the perfect flat to host travelers that want to be well located in the city, in the middle of the buzz and shops, still with the ability to cook a nice meal after a busy day of sightseeing. It provides a wonderful shower, a fresh room with air-conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen.

Right after publication, it exceeded the expected occupation reaching more than 90% occupancy for the following month. The initial price in 2018 was set for 60€ per night but it can already be increased after such high demand. This rental modality enables a much greater revenue than a traditional long-term rental.
